May 16th – Spring Tea and Sewing Basket Auction – we are asking members to search through their garages, under their sewing tables, thrift stores (do NOT spend a lot of money) for useable sewing baskets, preferably ones with a lid; also be on the lookout for unused sewing basket notions – thread, needles, measuring tapes and any other items you would hope to find in a sewing basket.

The baskets you bring can be empty or already filled with notion items. Or you can just bring notions you may have and are not using. Please bring baskets and other items to the April meeting or contact Benee Ketchum (505-301-9130 or bdketchum21944@gmail.com) and she will make arrangements to pick them up). The baskets will be auctioned off at the Spring Tea and all proceeds will be placed in the Guild treasury or go to buy supplies for Community Service projects. There will be a pot luck tea after the sew-in, before the auction. Sign up for what you would like to bring to the pot luck. Benee will have sign-up sheet available at the April meeting.
