Lending Library Rules
- You must be a current, paid member to check out library materials.
- You may sign out up to three (3) items at one time.
- You can sign out materials during General Membership Meetings and the
materials must be returned by the NEXT General Membership Meeting.
- You can renew library materials for one additional month.
- There will be a $1 per item late fee for materials that are not returned
timely by the NEXT General Meeting.
- You can't sign new materials out of the library until you have returned
previously borrowed materials and paid any late fees that you owe.
- You must return books and other materials in the same condition in which
you receive them.
- Use patterns only by photocopying or drafting them.
- NEVER cut patterns or books
- If you don't return borrowed materials after two months, the librarians
consider them LOST and you will be required to reimburse the Guild for the
purchase price, shipping and handling charges required to replace the
lost item in the library. For example, if you check out materials in April
and they are not renewed in May or returned in June, they are LOST.
- If you sign materials out of the library, you may not lend them to
someone else for any reason
- If you lose or abuse more than two library items with in a 12-month
period, you will lose your library privileges for 6 months.
